Long-term construction timelapse

Follow progress without losing the viewpoint

From day one
to the final film.

A long-term construction project needs more than a camera: framing, mounting, power, access, inspection visits and deliverables all need planning.

Before installation, we identify major stages and site constraints. The setup is then monitored to preserve image quality and tailor interventions to the actual progress of the project.

What to decide from the start

A smooth project begins before installation.

A lasting viewpoint

The subject needs to remain visible despite scaffolding, structures and changes on site.

Appropriate power

Autonomy, available power or an outdoor solution: the answer depends on duration, location and settings.

A monitoring plan

Framing, equipment condition, storage and image retrieval are checked through visits planned with your team.

During and after construction

Useful images
at every stage.

Depending on the setup, you can receive interim images or online access. At the end, editing brings the project together in the agreed format: a final film with music and branding, extracts for presentations or imagery for your archives.

Frequently asked questions

Practical answers before you begin.

When should the installation be prepared?

As early as possible before the first visible construction stages. This leaves time to validate the viewpoint, permissions, mounting, power and access conditions.

Are electricity and internet always required?

Not always. Depending on the location and duration, a standalone setup may be suitable. Connectivity is mainly useful when you want to view images remotely.

How do you prevent the construction work from blocking the camera?

The site visit considers planned stages, scaffolding and future structures. Checks then ensure that the framing remains useful as the construction work progresses.

What images do we receive?

Depending on the service: online access, interim images, communication extracts, photographic archives and a final edited film with your visual identity.

How is the price of a long-term timelapse calculated?

It depends on duration, number of cameras, access, power, inspection visits and deliverables. Plusview prepares a proposal after these parameters have been clarified.
